Marhsalls and Helpers info
READ THIS FIRST!
- If you have developed any Covid-19 symptoms (fever, continuous cough or loss of taste and smell) in the run-up to the event;
or - If you have been advised to self-isolate due to any possible contact with another individual who has developed symptoms, or returned from countries on the current restricted list;
or - If you are resident within one of the areas subject to a local lockdown on the day of the event.

What to Bring
- Warm Clothes / Waterproofs
- A drink (although food and warm drinks will also be provided for helpers by Leivers & Co)
- A pen and / or pencil – you never know
- Wellies if you feel appropriate
- Your phone, charged – you never know
If you are helping out PUTTING UP or DISMANTLING the course, please bring these IF YOU CAN
- Your hand sanitiser and face mask
- A set of cable snippers or similar pliers
- A lump-hammer or mallet
- Some gloves. A lot of lifting about going on
- A roll of electrical tape or similar (you never know)
- Protective / rough clothing and footwear
When
On the Friday , you can just rock up. Giving us as long as you can do would help but we know you have busy lives, like all of us. There’s only a large handful of people on site Friday so just turn up / seek us out, and you will be given tasks.
If you’re on Saturday or Sunday you need to familiarise yourself with your ‘place’ and timing. That is below. The ‘shifts’ are:
- SATURDAY MORNING
08:15 to 12:40 on Saturday - SATURDAY AFTERNOON
12:50 – 18:00 - SUNDAY MORNING
07:45 (for the registration tent)
08:45 to 13:00 all others - SUNDAY AFTERNOON
13:00 to 16:00 on Sunday
You will have a marshals’ briefing in the registration tent at

What we will provide
We have the following for you on Saturday and Sunday
- A Hi-Viz marshal vest
- A spare face mask
- A pair of protective gloves
- Flags (Yellow and Red for Marshals)
- A brand new whistle for each marshal
- Food ‘pack’ and a hot drink from Leivers & Co
Where to Park
The main gates won’t be open most of Friday – please park in the Offices car park down the “bottom corner” of the site next to the offices.
If you’re marshalling or helping on Saturday or Sunday then please just park in the main event car park.
